I was reminded today about how much I hate shopping at Walmart. I picked up a few things after getting a couple of things at Sams and go to check out, and my debit card comes back as card error, which it tends to do at certain places. It worked fine at Sams, and when it doesnt work, the cashiers at other places use a plastic bag over it when swiping to get it to go through. Well, I told the cashier that, and he shook his head and said, No. Like that was ridiculous or something then he asks if I want him to swipe it, and Im like sure, if it will work cause its picky at some places. So he enters it in manually, I put in my pin, and he hands me this slip of paper. I was like, whats this? The debit card is unavailable. And Im like, what does that mean? Youd have to talk to your bank, sometimes if it goes even a penny over whats there, it wont take it. So I start crying and saying I know I have plenty of money in the bank... so embarrassed and use my Moms extra card she gave me for getting gas and pay her back. My hands were shaking cause I was just so upset and embarrassed. I calmed down, went to the antique mall, used my card there, and spent more...Guess what? Worked perfect! If Walmart had been close by, I might have went back and showed him my receipt and said, Look, I told you! Maybe you should have listened to me. Ugh!!!
