I was saved when I was 8 years old, and for many years I was a visiting Christian. I tried to live like my Granny...failed....I tried to live like the Pastors....failed...I tried so hard to make every one else happy, and follow the man made rules, but I was an unhappy person. I always laughed and put on the right faces at the right time....but I was always searching for something that I didnt have. Then on March 31, 1999, I was totally born again......the Spirit of the Lord came into my room, and I fell on my knees and died out to this world. I didnt try to live like anyone else any more...I just wanted desperately to live like Jesus wanted me to....I only wanted then....and I only want now, to be Christ-like and to please JESUS. There is a transformation process when we are truly born again. You dont want the things you use to want, and you are HUNGRY for more of Jesus, HUNGRY for His Word and people around you will notice the difference......IF there is NO difference, you havent received the re-birth that is so freely given! Romans 12:1&2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, Holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service....And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Praise God
