I was so angry with God for leaving me single. I couldn’t understand why He still hadn’t brought me the one. As I started to get healthy (and very, very honest), I had to take a look at my past. Because if I’m being 100% honest, I had to admit that I took my love life out of Gods hands a LONG time ago. I knew God didn’t want me to be with these men, but I chose to be with them anyway. I knew I was supposed to let go of the wrong one’s, but I chose to hold on anyway. So, maybe I needed to stop blaming God and take a look at the choices I made along the way. I had to start taking responsibility for the choices I made. God is good. God loves you and wants you to experience REAL love. But He also lets us choose. I choose to trust Him. I choose to put my love life back in His hands. I choose to listen and let go of anything that’s keeping me from God’s best.
