I was so blessed by Dr. Charles Stanley lesson today. How do we grow spiritually? I learned that I am growing spiritually, glory to God. Family, how are you doing? Keep pressing and keep growing. It is a process and it lasts a lifetime. I Read the Word of God. Study the Word of God. Trust the Word of God. Live the Word of God. Share the Word of God. As I grow in the Word of God I become increasingly more sensitive to the sin in my life. My response to sin is quick. Yes, I am quick to repent. My spiritual battles have become more intense but I rejoice at how God tries my faith and allows me to be tried. It makes me strong. I do service to God as a high honor and not a burden. Ministry makes my heart beat fast and blesses me as much if not more than those I bless. I view everything, good and bad, as coming from God. I accept what God allows and do what He calls me to do. If I see all things as coming from God, I dont get bitter, hostile, or angry but instead see God growing me and my enemy is increasingly confused. I spend more time worshipping and praising God. I go to church and spend time with God and my brothers and sisters in the Lord regularly. Fellowship is a crucial part of discipleship and Christian growth and I love it. My desire to obey Him is intense and sin has become less and less attractive to me. I have been set apart to live a godly life. I am Sanctified. I am more and more excited to share Jesus with everyone I meet and tell them what Jesus has done in my life. I am experiencing an ever increasing awareness of Gods presence. He has never left me, nor forsaken me. I guard my private devotions and my prayers. This is the most important priority in my day. Everything else comes after. I cannot grow spiritually without being fed properly. What and how much I feed my soul matters and I sup with Him daily. I covet the time I spend with God. I get excited about my dates with my Daddy. I want to give more of myself and my increase in service to God and His kingdom. I am hungry for more of Him always and only He can satisfy me. I feel the love of God in and all around me.
