I was so judgement and critical of the staff at the hospital on - TopicsExpress

I was so judgement and critical of the staff at the hospital on previous occasions and quite frankly they hated me and fled if they saw me. They loved my mom, but not the daughter. On this particular occasion, I, through the help of GOD, made a conscious effort to keep cool and calm....it has been truly amazing how the staff have responded. They have been so support, so forthcoming in their efforts to help and care for my mother as if she were their own. It is a reminder that we all have short comings and need to leave margins for others but if we treat people with respect and not throw a fit every time things dont go our way, the response and experience can be a beautiful one. Through every trial in life, there is a lesson to be learnt. Sometime the lesson is not for the immediately injured but those around him/her...I have learnt a lesson well and I appreciate the candidness of the staff to tell me that I was lot harsher in my manner on previous occasions. Humbling ourselves takes a lot of putting aside egos, status, pride but at the end of the day, when we go, we all go to the same earth. ashes to ashes, dust to dust....GOD never judges us by our colour, clothes, riches, status, appearance, education - HE loves us all and helps us when we come to HIM in prayer.
