I was so proud of my husband this morning. We got a call from an 82 year old customer who lost his wife a year ago, that his water heater failed. He didnt know what to do as he gets confused so my husband called Home Depot for him and explained the circumstances so that they would deliver the water heater today, rather than Monday, then he had Home Depot call and confirm with the man the delivery. He then called back to make sure that the man was okay until tomorrow morning and told him what to do to disconnect the old water heater over the phone to save the man money on a service call. Sigh. He has a soft spot for the elderly...I love that!
