I was standing in the pharmacy line at Kroger this morning waiting to pick up a prescription for my grandma and there was an older couple in front of me getting waited on. The woman was so mean to her husband it was shocking. Apparently he had had a stroke and was having medicine issues, but she kept calling him an idiot, dumbass and telling him to shut up. She told him next time she was just going to leave him to die. The poor man looked beat down like you wouldnt believe. I really wanted to give him a hug but his was wife was scary. Its no wonder he had a stroke. Verbal abuse is just as bad physical abuse. Geez...smh
