I was starting to feel envious of all of you friends in North America hot into your anting season and catching queens, but this beauty just came into my possession. My dream species - Pheidologeton diversus! She is the biggest queen ant Ive ever seen in my whole life. Hopefully shes fertilized. Shes being kept in a giant test tube right now, but what should I keep her in - Omni Nest, Habitat Nest, Ant Box, New up coming product? Giant aquarium (natural formicarium)? Theyre a semi-nomadic species if I remember correctly from Mark Mofatts book and grow into huge colonies that require a lot of foraging space.
