I was stuck in dead-stop traffic on 30 today for about 45 minutes. Talk radio about Ferguson was just not cutting it, so I turnt up the iPod and shuffled through my holiday music. The past two Christmases were hard for Mom and me. My grandmother passed away just before Christmas 2012. Mom was getting weaker and having fewer days of feeling good. Id always try to cheer her up by playing something fun in the car, driving to appointments or whatever. Nothing worked on her as much as this song did. Wed sing along, and shed bob her head every time Ringo would drag out Laaatteeeerr oooooonn... Man, I miss her like crazy, but I finally found a smile in that dang traffic today, thanks to ole Ringo.
