I was talking to my daughter the other day on the phone and she called me a fb preacher. We laughed and after we hung up I kinda thought. Well I do lift up the name of the Lord and His saints, and I do reveal sin. And like most congregations, some listen, some block me out, some like, some dis-like, some probably talk about me, some agree and some dis-agree......... Then I walk into the funeral home last night and a friend told another friend, He is a fb preacher. I dont really consider myself a preacher, I feel like Im just doing what everyone should be doing. Lifting up the name of the Lord. Besides, in the Bible, in the OT, it didnt matter if you were a person, a congregation, or the priest. You still had to offer a sin offering when you sinned...God is no respecter of persons, we all have to repent and we all should be telling others about Jesus. I dont care if you are a teacher, a preacher, pew sitter, or baby sitter. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, if you have truly been born again, you should tell others. At the Day Care where I speak at times they have sent my schedule out with me listed as Dean Birch, Rev Dean Birch, layman Dean Birch, etc.... Titles I spoke at a funeral and the director asked how did I want my name listed, Rev., pastor, etc....I thought for a moment and said, Na, Im just a fisherman! So! No matter your title, fb preacher, pastor, teacher, bishop, president, layman, or whatever you choose. We are all made in the image of God, we were all created to serve Him. He loved us all so much that He gave His Son, His only Son, to die for our sins. He died and He rose again and sits on the right hand of the Father...Now I thank thats something to talk about no mater who you are......
