I was the fifth generation in our lodge going back to 1905. Low funds was the excuse. This after our district deputy grand master Robert Forthum took 2 cruises throughout Europe, and cant account for $300,000. Then after that he had the AC units removed and put on his house. After I questioned where all my families memorabilia disappeared to. His wife explained they were decorating their house with it. He lives 30 miles away and has never been part of our community, belonging to a lodge 90 miles away. After I help set up a Food Truck festival which made $30,000 with volunteer firemen, police, council members, mayors, the United Way etc. Well Bob Forthum our great mentor dismantled our lodge, lost or spent the money and then ordered the lodge closed because we were low on money and it was too hot to meet upstairs. This while our AC units are on his house. Ive been trying to contact Tim Brown to get an explanation after over a year of calls, texts, emails, etc...I received a cease and desist order. The United Way took over our Food Truck festival and made over $50,000 which wouldve gone to us. Now we have 16 members without a lodge and never ever feeling F.L.T. , but Animosity, Hatred, and Distrust. I think the lack in response is their anticipation of litigation, which will ruin the order. FYI I gave Tim 100 chances to call me. Im still waiting by the phone. Oh yeah Bob Forthum our great district deputy grand master shut down our pancake breakfast with the Boyscouts because hes not allowed to be around Boyscouts. He was accused not once but twice of inappropriate fondling and touching Boyscouts he invited to his house to do chores. Maybe theyre polishing the pictures of my family from the lodge that now decorate his house. The Odd Fellows are the most corrupt backwards organization Ive ever dealt with.
