I was there when Imran Khan made speech of my lifetime and couldnt believe my ears. That was the only time when I felt sorry for him... He should learn from this saga... People like Sheikh Rashid and other traditional politicians who hijacked his movement must be blamed for this fiasco. I am not a fan of Imran Khan but I think he made a grave mistake by ditching his own sincere supporters and accepting every Tom Dick and Harry in the party. There is no doubt that IK emerged as the most charismatic political leader after ZAB and the youth became his die-hard supporters. I think he should organise his party with nationwide training programmes / seminars to improve their ethical standard. As an Ummiwar e Rukniyyat of Islami Jamat Talba during my student days, I have been part of IJTs organisation and I think IK should study this model of political organisation to devise his own organisation and progression structure within the party. I would ask him not to give up. Change your team! Bring the young guys into the organisation and I tell you there are thousands out to help you. No Sheikh Rashid will die for you but I can bet there are still many left amongst your supporters who are willing to die for you. They are the youth. Train them to live like the ones who are willing to serve the people on mohalla level, educate them not to react to criticism with harsh words but with more service to people. They should win my heart, as I felt for you when you almost cried during your speech. Whenever I got inclined towards PTI this one sentence or that bad word took me away. It is not only me... There are hundreds of writers, analysts and intellectuals who were made averse to you and PTI by your harsh words and those of your supporters. This is not how you develop a mass movement. People ask me why I dont like PTI. Let me tell them that I like the notion of justice and what you want to achieve in terms of eradication of poverty, corruption and all the socio-economic ills but I dont like your words, your accusations your abusive language and your reactionary approach. I shall be the first person to stand next to IK if he calls back all his disgruntled workers and says goodbye to all those time-servers whom he has brought into his inner circle. I am saying this thing at a time when the party workers are feeling low and disillusioned. There are many like me who still have hope in IK but it is only him who has to show that he is different from all others. He should wait for the next match and reorganise his team. I am sure he will stand a better chance of winning.
