I was thinking about the terrible events of the last week. Four lives were destroyed in a horrific fashion without any reason. These young peoples potential will never be realized. Enough is enough! The land is important to two peoples. Israel is the cradle of the Jewish people. In that land a civilization was born that gave the world so many gifts. However, it also gave birth to another people who also hold the land dearly. I cant find a period in history that the land has belonged to one people exclusively. Each deserves to have self-determination and to live their lives in security and with prosperity. This cycle of violence that destroys lives, creates despair, and so much uncertainty. An agreement requires that the two adversaries must mutually recognize each others rights, must truly negotiate, and should recognize that neither will get 100 percent. Maybe at so time the fatigue of struggle will bring them to this realization. The time to stop the crying of mothers for their murdered children has come!
