I was thinking more about wilderness on my drive home. I think may e weve got it backwards. Israel fought battles, defeated giants, and won new ground IN THE PROMISED LAND. I will have to look but I dont remember any battles in the wilderness. So if you are in a battle, taking on a giant, or fighting to take ground from the enemy I say take a new look around. You are very likely in the midst of your promised land and God has given you the victory!
