I was thinking, while munching on my starcrunch, about the movie "Bruce Almighty." I recall a line that God said, "Some of the happiest people go home smelling to high heaven." It made me think about something. Perhaps, if we were more in touch with our Higher Power, and spent time meditating and praying, instead of placing a special request list or a "save my tush, please" prayer,we may discover His plan for us. Maybe some of us are designed to do things that others would call "too hard" or "unattractive." (Like Dad always says, some of us have to be ditch-diggers.) If what you do is dreaded daily, ask yourself why you are there. If you are living in his will - I believe, you smile more, dance more and praise more. If not, you are unhappy because you feel unappreciated, under-compensated, and otherwise mistreated. So, find a nice quiet spot and be still - Listen for your heart song. God has been playing the tune all along, some of us just refuse to dance. May we all find His place for us.
