I was thrilled to be a part of this event with Ricoh on Wednesday. We delivered 70 personally decorated teddy bears to children staying at the IWK Childrens Hospital over the holidays. They were placed on tables and around the Christmas tree in an activity room where children from all ages can go to forget about their troubles for a while. You can imagine their little faces when they walked into the room and found dozens upon dozens of little bears waiting for a new home. It wasn’t long before the last of the bears were given away, but the feeling that comes with paying it forward and seeing a smile on a childs face will last a lifetime.
