I was told I could do anything but discovered it’s a man’s world. “Its great to be a woman but I have to be what men want me to be!” “How do I get away from feeling that womanhood can be a curse sometimes?” “I want to learn how to love myself as a woman and celebrate that!” I feel bombarded by images of unrealistically skinny women. I love husband and my kids, but sometimes I feel a little lonely. “How can I deal with all this, living in Pakistan?” If you feel even a shred of resonance with ANY of these statements, you are invited for tea at Kuch Khaas on Wednesday, 29th January from 5-7pm. A presentation by Moyna Aicken, senior management professional and an NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer, is being offered by Kuch Khaas as a starting point for a series of mini-workshops addressing the issues of ‘being a woman’ in today’s world. And how we can celebrate womanhood despite the taboos, injunctions and evaluations of the world around us.
