I was trying to sleep but couldnt due to a task I wanted to complete for my job. I woke up, did the task, then began reading chapter 8 of the newest book in my library Instinct by TD Jakes where I was encouraged as to why I remained uneasy until the task was complete. I desire to be a Principal, which requires a great deal of organization, people skills, and management skills, all of which I am gaining more of in this new teaching position, serving as Band director at one school, Band/Chorus director at another, football coach, and Athletic Director. It is a lot, but the reward will be great and these positions are stepping stones for what is next! I desire us all to chase our dreams and dont be afraid to take on the responsibility that comes along with it. The most successful people wake up early and go to bed late, maximizing every opportunity in between.
