I was up ALL night long with little miss Journee. She was having a hard time breathing so I gave her albuterol and she bounced off the walls the rest of the night/morning. I couldnt have gone to sleep even if she would have because I needed to keep checking her oxygen level. This is how it always starts the day before she ends up being hospitalized but this time we have a game plan that the Doctors are hoping will keep things at bay enough to keep her out of the hospital. Hopefully it works :-) She has been hospitalized 8 times in the last 6 months and that doesnt include all the emergency room visits. We FINALLy got an authorization a couple of days ago for her to see an Allergist/Immunoligist. Hopefully they will be able to find answers as to why she just randomly is not able to breathe and needs oxygen, breathing treatments and steriods (at least once a month). They will also be re-testing her for an immune deficiency which she has tested positive for once but she was so sick at that time that they wanted the test redone. Im feeling hopeful today that we are getting closer to finding answers. Hopefully it wont take months to get in with this specialist. I think I should get an honorary nursing degree at the end of all of this :-) Being a nurse is the one profession I said that I NEVER wanted to be when I grew up!! LOL!! The Lord sure has a way of stretching us and showing us that with HIM we are capable of becoming more than we ever thought we could be
