I was very happy to leave the chaos and congestion of Ho Chi Minh - TopicsExpress

I was very happy to leave the chaos and congestion of Ho Chi Minh City and head up the coast to Hue, a charming town of about 300,000 with a fascinating and tragic history - it served as the countrys capital during Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945), and later suffered substantial losses during the Tet Offensive of 1968. Here are some highlights from my stroll along the Perfume River, tour of the Imperial City and visit to the Thien Miu Pagoda.
