I was walking outside the Philippine General Hospital when I - TopicsExpress

I was walking outside the Philippine General Hospital when I suddenly craved for taho (soybean curd sweetened with caramelized sugar) which I saw along the sidewalk. I bought a cup of it and while I was eating an older woman who seemed to have special needs and talking like a child approached the taho vendor asking if she can buy for two pesos only. The taho vendor said she can but gave her a cup of it worth of five pesos instead (the taho cost range from five to ten pesos a cup). The older woman left seemingly happy. The taho vendor noticed I was smiling at him seeing his generosity and said Maam, everyday I encounter at least 10 of such kind of people but I dont mind giving them taho even for free. I told him he shows good deeds and he should be thankful when people with special needs come to him for their souls are pure. They are angels bringing him more blessings. The store vendor smiled and said he really feels good and lucky when he gives them taho. I smiled back before I left and told him God bless you more.
