…….I was watching HLN Dr. Drew tonight and he had a very diverse panel of guest . All them were talking and fussing about the Zimmerman trial , the verdict and what they thought were the rights or wrongs about the whole case. They argued about who they thought did the best job portraying the case to the public. Then one of the guest Social Commentator Shahrazad Ali put it out there that the reason Rachel Jeantal, the Prosecutions star witness had trouble making and completing sentences ,spoke with a different kind of slang and was just plain confused sometimes on the stand and had No desire to be there on the witness stand was because the EDUCATION SYSTEM FAILED HER….. Ali blamed this young ladies teachers for NOT teaching her …… …. WE as Educators can only do so much, we teach and spend more in 8 hrs a day than most parents see their kids, we give kids respect and help them when no one else will, a lot of times provide them with the only bit of stability they know, encourage them to do their best at all times and yep sometimes clothed and feed them and let‘s not forget the LOVE that we show to our kids no matter what color, size or social standing they have. How dare this lady try to throw the blame of this trials short comings off on the educational system………… I guess it’s far for me to say the even Social Commentators have not a clue what really happens in our educational system. God help those loud mouth, shallow minded people. And thank God for our EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM !
