I was wide awake at 6 am and I saw this dog running up and down the road in front of our house. He was chasing vehicles and would not come at first. One time he came close enough that I could see that he had no tags hanging from his collar. Then he finally slowed down to go play with Checkers, the neighbors dog, 3 doors down. The neighbor caught him and put him in their garage and called me to see if I might be pet sitting a dog that had gotten loose. I said no, but if you have him caught, keep him there, cause I saw an ad in craigslist that might be from his owners. I called the number and sent pictures and it was their missing kid! I went to the neighbors house and transported the dog back to my house where he stayed in my outdoor kennel within my fenced in yard, until the owners arrived!!!!! We will probably never know exactly how we made it to Benton City from Finley, but thanking God he is home safe and sound.
