I was wondering why the past few years I have not wanted to go anywhere or take my kids anywhere for spring break....but the answer just finally dawned on me: I am getting up at 7am taking those kids (set of 3)to and from school 5 days a week, taking them to soccer game plus practices, basketball games plus practices, track meet plus practices, church....yada yada yada. All with the sweet added bonus of attitude when I occasionally say no mixed in with the guilt I feel when I dont hit the mark perfectly. If I go anywhere next week it will be by myself. The kids vacation will be me buying paper plates and tv dinners so that them dont have to hear me complain about them keeping the kitchen clean. Hmmmmm. I feel more relaxed already.
