I was working on my Seebold today, and thought maybe I should get a hobby!!! Boat racing used to be fun. When I raced the OLD Turtle Express I went 37 MPH, but the other guys went 36. When I raced the twin engine boats at Havasu, we went a hundred. When I raced Super C, I went maybe 80. I made a copy of a trophy my dad won in 1947 at Havasu Landing. I was 3 at the time....this trophy is made of solid stainless steel. Making the trophy was way fun. When I drove the Turtle Express I didnt even wear a shirt. Now days you have to have $1,100 cut suits to race a 40 MPH boat. Or a $2,500 ROLL CAGE OR $5,000 CAPSULES. I WAS THINKING MAYBE IM OLD ENOUGH TO START PLAYING GOLF, WE HAVE A HOUSE ON THE GOLF COURSE.....Then, I thought, BULL SHIT golf is like listening to your hair grow. So, back to the Seebold, Im putting a Chevy Eco Tech PRO BUGGY motor in it on a Mercrusier sterndrive, ala Jay Root, 1976.
