I wasnt planning on watching the Miss America Pageant last night but it was like 10 pm and I sat down to do my nails and thats what was on, so Pageant it was. I actually find pageants pretty entertaining. Im waiting for the internet to pop up with all the little goofs today. There was the not-so-graceful dancer, and I liked the finalist who answered the question about college rape with a story and said, we need to teach smart drinking. The best, though, and the one I am expecting to see, was when they were introducing the finalists for the evening gowns and they zoom on Chris Harrison saying this is not just about pretty dresses, its about personal style, poise and grace. And while he is saying this, the seated contestant directly on his left wants to say something to a friend, so she leans back, knees apart, and just the extra stretch flipped her skirt and sent her poise and grace out over the airwaves and into the homes of middle America. Theres probably a reason she wasnt a finalist.
