I wasnt sure if my boys would ever call out the name Dad again. As their mom, that thought was a hard one. Hearing my boys call Eddie, Dad.... I could never explain what that feels like. ❤️ I have noticed they say it almost everytime now. An occasional Eddie comes out... and thats ok too. ;) Its been at their own pace. Its been a beautiful and patient process and I am just so happy for them. All three of them. Every little kid should be so lucky. They say it and we just smile at each other. Its an adjustment. Of course it is, but I think the wedding has helped them feel even more ready to make him their own. As a man, you earn that name. You get what you give. Eddie has given so much. He turned himself into a dad, by loving them the way that he does. By making them his first priority. By letting then know everyday, how lucky he is to call them his sons. He is an incredible Dad. It is the beginning of a beautiful and welcomed transition and I am feeling such a sense of contentment. Heres to contentment. ❤️
