I wasnt the only one in the audience that shed tears even White People as well. 12 Years A Slave made me feel the pain of my African American Ancestor Solomon Northup and the horrific realities of slavery. Everything he felt I felt as well and so did the rest of the audience. All African American parents who have children ages 14-17 should take them too see the movie, because watching this movie would teach them that they have a lot of work to do and dont have time to waste their life away academically. Every African American child must perform at the highest educational standards no excuses whatsoever. Dare to be at the highest peak of your true greatness awaken within you the academic scholar make your African Ancestors proud and fearless.
