I wasnt under a rock when this was announced yesterday and was very saddened to hear of Claudias sudden passing .. she had endured so much and almost passed through deaths door on a number of occasions. I didnt Like this page but checked in occasionally and am confused by the Mail headline that her disease had returned??...so she passed away from her brain cancer after all? Id read that the lung complications had proved to be benign? What also is astounding? when I first read this yesterday the page had less than 300,000 Likes today its almost 320,000!!!...people have been amazing at showing their support but in all honesty we need to cure them too and this is the level of support childhood cancer awareness needs at ALL times.... Other articles have mentioned the after effects and toxicity of Claudias treatment that were perhaps the primary reason...and indeed she was very damaged, I hope those in this current wave of support can see that there is much to be done to provide much needed kinder treatments for children..and to say that you beat any cancer in this situation is sadly premature. Survival can be just the start of another battle and that clinical term of CURE Im sure is feeling very hollow now... This page still doesnt get a Like from me, I dont like it at all ...God bless Claudia xx
