Of course it wasnt over then and it isnt over now, just on hiatus. Dems will someday learn that America is Center Right, not Center Left. Dems cant keep writing off the rural areas and focusing just on the population centers. I dont think Dems can keep writing off the Deep South by forcing policies that only work in some urban centers. Focusing on the rural areas of America will force them to move to the center of the political spectrum. Many Republicans think Americans dont like Big Government. Americans dont like ineffective, intrusive, and inept GOVERNMENT! They set the stage for big wins on November 4th by not working with the President and forcing him to look anemic and unable to get the government working. They could do that since they only controlled the House of Representatives--THEY WONT BE ABLE TO DO THAT NOW THAT THEY WILL CONTROL THE SENATE AND HOUSE COME JANUARY.
