I watched The Voice Season 2 Blind Auditions and this nights episode really touched my heart. This brought be back to Darrens journey in The Voice Kids when I heard one of those who auditioned singing Listen. Luckily, Coach Apl turned for this lady and joined his team. Then Coach Lea explained why she didnt turn. She said that the singers she really like who had sang this song were Beyonce, Charice and DARREN ESPANTO. Seemed that they became Ms. Leas standard in singing this song. She mentioned that these singers relay a story and feeling to the audience that you have to listen to me. Then Darrens Sing Offs flashed back in my mind. Undeniably, Darren sang this song with feeling especially the lines saying oh the time has come for my dreams to be heard and Im not at home, in my own home. I believed these lines are really true and important for Darren to have it sang emotionally. Another performer named Alisah Bonaobra auditioned with Jessie Js Domino. With the first beat of the song, all coaches got familiarized and got excited. Coaches Lea, Sarah and Apl turned for her but she opted to be part of Apls team. What really made me so happy was when Coach Lea was explaining on why she turned for Alisah. She said that the last time she heard the song was sang by DARREN ESPANTO which she honestly admitted she had regret of not turning her chair. She said that she prayed for it that the next time shell hear this song, she will definitely turn so no regrets, which she did for Alisah. It was actually a question to me on why Ms. Lea didnt make her turn for Darren but this nights episode made me contented. I may not have the exact answer on why but knowing how Ms. Lea acknowledged and believed in Darrens talent is more than enough. So for me, Darren is still a THREE CHAIR TURNER!
