I watched a show last night on PBS... it was called The History Project: Tulipmania.... It was all about the history of Tulips, where they came from, how they made their way to Amsterdam, and the effect of Tulip Bulbs on the stock exchange. It was really interesting (well I think so anyway) They generally repeat shows on Channel 10 (my DISH Network PBS channel) One scene of the documentary was the Keukenhof Gardens in Amsterdam, and their spring tours after the Tulips have bloomed ... all the varieties of healthy looking Tulips was glorious to behold ! Must put that to my bucket list !!
