I watched my brother take his last breath 15 years ago tonight at midnight and I remember it like it happened yesterday. It hasn’t gotten any easier to deal with over time, but it is different. I have learned to accept what has been dealt to my family and I have accepted what we have learned from our loss which is never stop telling those dearest to you how much you need and love them. I thought it was only appropriate to re-post this memory filled short video that my sister Jodi made in honor of our brother Jared. 15 years this Monday that he went fishing with Jesus, and chose to stay and fish with his sister and grandpa. I know he will greet everyone we lose here and welcome them home up there and show them where the greatest fishing holes are. I miss him so much and I wish he could be here to see how we have changed because of his unexpected passing. I hope you all can enjoy some of these pics and think of Jared on Monday! And may god continue to bless us all with Hanes tube socks that are usually turned into ‘Jared socks’!
