I watched the movie Gods Not Dead last night and I have to say what a great movie. I encourage everyone to watch it and to have your children watch it... All one has to do is flip on social media or the TV to see this movie come to life in real time around the world.. Coptic Christians are being persecuted in Egypt for their Faith.. A Christian woman in Sudan was given a choice renounce her Christian Faith or be sentenced to 100 lashes and death. She chose death.. Yazidis Christians are trapped on Sinjar Mountain in Iraq facing genocide. Their choices are to walk down the mountain, submit to Islam or stay on the mountain and die. All of these people have one thing in common. They all chose death over abandoning their faith...They all chose death over abandoning their faith.. What choice would you make? Me, I really dont know and that tells me I have a lot of work to do..We are blessed to live in a nation that is far removed from the violence in the rest of the world, but has that distance weakened us from making that decision if pressed.. Have the words right and just been replaced with convenience and tolerance.. Trouble no one about their religion, respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours.
