I watched the second Hagen - Tillis debate. the first debate was LESS than a DRAW....... IMO... as neither candidate said or debated much --- one ran against the POTUS the other against NC Legislature ...... ZZzzzz... This one clearly was Hagens .... Tillis has no real positions, no policies to offer and finds it hard to answer even indirectly a question.... I dont think Hagen is particularly strong... but she did explain some of her record, did project some policies and idea for the future. Cant believe Tillis wont support student loan re-neog and he is proud of the tardy NC Ed. bills and pay-raises......He actually wants voters to buy that EPA over-reach is keeping NCs economy suppressed --- give me a break............ BUT --------------------------------------- Hagan better get a firmer position on what ISLIS policy she would promote (Tillis has none) seem the election winds expect incumbents to have worked this through and set policy (which clearly has only been done by the White House since Harry Truman), she is right; Congress needs to and should have already had an comprehensive authorization vote on ISLIS/ Iraq /Syeria; but none of them wanted that vote hanging in the breeze while the fighting could go any direction before the election ..........she better clarify her immigration position ( maybe the bill with McCain is clear but it was not in the debate) sensitive issue in NC; she also needs to come out with sharper ideas on directly moving the local / rural economies in NC .... and again Tillis offers next to nothing... Well four weeks to go... can you win without any alternative plans and policies? I guess that running against the POTUS is the only GOP idea ... and it might work.... Hagen will really have to work to keep her seat in NC !
