I watched this and thought about this a bit at lunch. I thought about the expectations others had for me growing up, the role I was expected to play, and how others thought that someone with a visual limitation like mine should be ib this world. Then I think about how my co workers at UNM thought about me. The high expectations that they held me to, the positive attutidue they encouraged, and the opportunity to step outside what was comfortable. How much that shapes me went unrcognized by me. This video makes me think and yes I am kinda girlie girl but that is ok too. But I am a strong women on my own striving to be more and add more in the world.
