I watched this peaceful revolution from its beginnings in 2008. After the Bank of Iceland was Nationalized iIn 2008, The citizens rise up and force the resignations of the Prime Minister and the government. New elections are held, however the country remains in bad shape and the new parliament assesses a levy on all citizens to pay back 3,500 million Euros to Great Britain and Holland with 5.5% interest. In 2010, the people rise up again at parliament and force a referendum. The president denies approval. In March 2010 a referendum and denial of the payment is approved by a vote of 93%. The government goes after those responsible for the crisis. Many high level Executives and bankers (think the equivalent of CitiBank and other Wall Streeters) are arrested. A new government is formed and a Constitution is being written to avoid entrapments of debt based currency based on foreign loans. Read the article, and remember there is nothing federal about our Federal Reserve. Its a consortium of private (mostly European - think Rotheschild) banks. Our constitution states that only Congress can issue money. If that were the case, there would be NO NATIONAL DEBT. We borrow private money from the Federal Reserve, and supposedly pay it back WITH interest.
