I went 2 pick my permanent voter card (PVC) days ago, wen i got dia a tot came to me by way of a question,of wat use will dis card b to u? so i reasked myself d question of wat use will it b to me? Since i turned 18 somany yrs ago i av nt voted for once bcos dia is no room for me to vote or b vote for bcos d independent national electoral commission (INEC)in Nigeria and d powers dat b in d land av made it dat I nd millions of my brodas nd sistas can not vote or b voted for. The PVC is useless to millions of sabbath keeper like me in 9iger bcos election in nigeria holds on sabbath day (saturdays) witin d sabbath hours. It will interest u all to knw dat many countries of d world do nt hold election on a sabbath day but on a work days. It will also interest u to knw dat sabbath keepers in nigeria r denied opporturnity to take part in somany tins like SSCE/GCE since maths nd english must b taken on d sabbath day, JAMB, post UME,apptitude test for job nd most universities r on sabbath days, common entrance, nd political party primarys holds on sabbath day. I tink its hi tym we voice out as sabbath keeper dat dia is nid for change nd dat we av d rite to take part in all dat av bin said above.
