I went and saw dad yesterday afternoon. He held my hand so tightly and cried when he saw me. He wasnt letting go. He straight away tried to say something, but he cant because the tube in his throat goes down his vocal cord. Im sure he was trying to say he loved us and he wants out of there! I told him we all love him and want him to get strong real fast so he can come home. He now thinks hes a bit of a celebrity. He liked that. He pulled a few stupid faces and cracked me up. Hes got no teeth in. Hopefully in a couple of days the tube will come out and the hole will heal. Fingers crossed he can speak then, or with the help of a speaking device. He was showing off a bit (I think) and wobbling his toes on left foot around, like he was waving. I watched deal or no deal with him, he was awake for ages. Still breaks my heart to see him like that, but hes making a lot of progress quite quickly at the moment, (although it feels like forever). He would love a letter, email or a card or anything so send them to me and ill read them to him. Soldier on Bazz Edwards!!
