I went on an interview for a job last week and when the boss asked what I wanted for compensation I replied: ① ~ First, I would like 30– 50% commission on everything I sell. ② ~ I expect to receive commissions every week rather than every month like most companies. ③ ~ I would also like the opportunity to earn free merchandise every month based on my sales. ④ ~ I expect you to provide me with the very best website and free online training plus leadership training were I can meet other team members were we receive updates on up coming changes and free product! ⑤ ~ I want to bring in and train new sales people as I choose and I expect up to 15% commissions on their sales. ⑥ ~ I would like the opportunity to rapidly advance within the company. ⑦ ~ When I do well, I expect LOTS of praise and recognition for meeting goals. I want no income/salary cap and I want to determine my pay, not you. ⑧ ~ I would like my friends and family to work here also. ⑨ ~ By the way, I need to set my own schedule and work only when it suits me and my family. I never want to work holidays, and I need unlimited amounts of vacation time. So... when can I start? After the owner recovered from shock, he ROARED with laughter, Lady, you cant be serious!
