I went through one box of my shoes, just one out of about five, and I figured up how much it cost my hubby to buy me just the one box. $640 in shoes! Romeos, Fat Babies, Doc Martins, Nikes, Asics, Ropers, Mary Janes, heels in every color. That is insane! So if we multiply that by five we get $3200 in shoes in the last eight years. Thats $400 a year in shoes, but actually that doesnt include flipflops, cheap tennis shoes, slippers, water shoes and other footwear I have thrown out. I have a problem. People are starving and cant buy medicines they need to live and I own $3200 worth of shoes. That is wrong. So from now on, no more shoes, Ill shine and buff and make new again. This is my promise to myself.
