I went to a boot sale today looking for woodworking tools. I saw someting I liked and after viewing all around the other vendors I returned to the man who was selling the item I had looked at. He was a guy around sixty and we chatted about quality. The tool I bought was quality so I paid his asking price. I noticed something else on his table which interested me and enquired as to the price again it was more expensive that I might have gotten a similar one elsewhere, but by then I had no money left so I thanked him and walked off. There were hundreds of people at the sale. I walked on only to have a tap on the shoulder. The same man asked me my name. I was puzzled, I asked why he wished to know. He said are you called Edward? Yes I am why I replied, he said then is this yours , it was my wallet with all my cards in and drivers licence. I thanked him went to my car and drove home and picked up some cash and drove back to the sale I went back to his stall and bought the item I had looked at earlier and we talked a little about honesty. It was a good end to a situation that could have cost me much more because of my carelessness.
