I went to make my work lunch this noon, and I lost our measuring cup, so I used a clean mason jar to measure the two cups of water needed. Then I thought that it would be awesome if mason jars had the same detailed measuring marks as measuring cups. That way, when I canned jelly, I can accurately determine if the juice needed to make the jelly will fit in the jar ahead of time. Also, I could save on dishes and dish cleaning. Not to mention that multi purposing things like this would make my kitchen less crowded.
