I went to see this piece of theatre tonight and enjoyed it immensely. Nine monologues are performed by different actors, from sad to poignant to poetic to amusing, on the subject of violence against women and everything that goes along with it (objectification, womens place in society etc). It goes for only two more nights so I suggest you get down to 93 Kelburn Parade and check it out. It costs $15 waged / $10 unwaged, with all proceeds going to the Shakti Womens Refuge.
