I went to the Jeff Koons exhibition today in New York at the Whitney museum. These large inflatable looking pieces are actually made from bronze, aluminium and stainless steel..which makes them pretty cool. Im not such a big fan but I have always enjoyed this series of his work. It was nice to see the Balloon Dog again. Saw it last in 2009 in the city. And of course..theres a picture of his famous work..the floating Basketball. His idea is that people are more interested in the banal, everyday things in life.
