I went to the NorCal coaching clinic and the following track day a couple of weeks ago. The Big-O tire guys were there and I took advantage of the services in tire performance tracking and adjustment. My first run session they identified that I was over braking for the corners and then accelerating through them. I knew I was doing this but it was great to see that from tire temp and pressure measurements they could identify what I was doing wrong. The second run session I increased corner entry speed and the data showed that i had dome so. By the end of the day I had improved my control application and evened out the tire temps. It was a great learning experience for me. Hope we can get this kind of thing setup in the northwest for 2015...
