I went to the cardiologist today. I am now wearing a Holter monitor and go for a stress test on Friday. The EKG shows that I have had a “mild heart attack” in the past. She told me I could stop the diuretic pill and if the stress test is OK I can stop the cholesterol pill. I am already working on getting off of Cymbalta. So, if I can get off of some of these meds, MAYBE just maybe my platelets will come back up. Fingers crossed.
