I went to the doctor today, everything is healing nicely and lined up exactly to plan. :)) I get to walk now with my boot on but with crutches outside of the house or around the house as pain allows without the crutches. The good news is I get to drive with a surgical shoe on once Ive walked to and from the car in my boot - freedom! Thank you to all my friends and family for the rides these past 12 weeks - Rick even stopped a couple of blocks from home so I could practice driving - I felt just like when I got my drivers permit! Oh happy days! Let me tell you though my foot is already tired of this short trip around the house since I got home.
