I went to the hospital today to visit Jr. Copeland, who was involved in a horrible lawnmower accident this past saturday. It happened when he was mowing down a steep grade and it ran off with him. He jumped off and slipped and the mower deck ran over his left foot catching his heel in the still rotating blades resulting in a very servere injury. His doctor and a plastic surgeon were to visit him today to determine what and how they were going to repair the damage. Under the circumstances he was in pretty good spirits or it was the pain medication they were giving him. I think he was surprised and happy that I took the time to go see him. Jr. will be going through a lot of pain and therapy in the coming weeks and months of recovery. He is in Ruby Hospital, room 730 B, if you want to stop in and see him or send him a card. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers for a fast recovery and return to work. Jr, if you read this dont get pissed, you know me. Cant keep my trap shut, always running my mouth about something.
