I went to the library today and I have to say that I wasnt surprised at how the entrance on the 11th St side looked. By that I mean that last night I drove down 11th St and there were a bunch of teenagers hanging out in front of the closed library. They were horsing around running back and forth from the depot, climbing on the benches, not I am not against kids hanging out in public places. Today when I went to the library someone had dug through the planters and thrown handfuls of dirt and plants on the sidewalk. There was also some broken sunglasses and such, I dont know if it was the previously mentioned teenagers or not, but do we have loitering laws in Marion? I feel that if a business is closed then people should not be hanging around the front of the business, especially destructive people.
